On the one hand I think a nice classic and not ostentatious solitaire. On the other... for her I hope its something that knocks everyone's socks off, especially with the grief the media gave her.

I say-- 2 carat emerald with baguette sides (tapered) would be lovely.

I would say either Lynn''s choice, or maybe a 2 ct emerald-cut in a solitaire setting (like a Harry Winston type).

I agree with this guess too! only I''d think an emerald cut w/ tapered baguette sides in platinum... 1.75-2.5cts
