I''m so sorry to hear that you''re have work-related problems, John. At one time or another, each of us has experienced major issues related to our work, but whatever the problem is, it will be solved.

As you may or may not know, I am one of your #1 fans who believes that you can do no wrong. Remember the many times that you have been there for Gypsy/ Layla, cooking her favourite meals complete with great wines; stepping into the breach to set her family straight, all the while letting her lean on you. Now, it''s your turn, John. Let Layla pamper you for the entire weekend

Thank you Isabel, I will share this with John when he gets home.

He''s just had a really rough couple of weeks, his mom has open heart surgery last week, then this week he gets hit with some stuff... three days running and he''s just so frazzled. I think I''m going to just go home now and on the way pick up something I know he loves for dinner, and maybe a nice funny card.

Okay. Gonna log off for now and take care of him.

Loads of dust forthcoming -- both for John and for you, Gypsy, to help you be strong and calm and able to help him de-frazzle as best you can. Is it possible for the two of you to do something relaxing together this weekend? I always find that going to a nearby park or arboretum where FI and I can take a long, gentle hike really helps me get my head back together -- do you have some similar activity that lets you just get away from it all for a couple hours?

Isabel, he read your post tonight and told me to thank you especially. You made him smile. Thank you for that, very much.

We went to a restuarant he really likes last night and watched some of his favorite shows. Tonight when he comes home I'm thinking of surprising him with a few things that he would enjoy as well.

Thank you Sarah, Dee Jay, Mintve, Violet and allycat. ((HUGS)) Your posts mean so much to us both. He really enjoyed reading them.

Octavia, I will try, usually he's just beat after coming home from work and my shower is on Sunday (his day off), but I'll try to suggest a nice walk together tonight and see if he bites.


I hope the coming weeks are better for him at work. He really does love his job, and he's competitive, and its hard on him that he's not performing to where he should be.
