Hi girls, just letting you all know that we picked out our lucida yesterday!

It''s beautiful-can''t remember all the specs off hand but it''s 1.23 ct, vvs2, i. I love it. It''s currently being sized now so hopefully he won''t wait the six months to propose when we get home! Talk to you all soon and I''ll try and get him to let me have a pic for you all!

Make sure you take a stroll through SoHo. And if you''re interested in architecture (and fashion) check out Prada''s US flagship store on Broadway (?) in SoHO. The architect Rem Koolhaas designed it and it is SPECTACULAR. One of the most original spaces I''ve ever been in.

Thanks everyone! Just got back to Dublin now-no ring on my finger yet. I won''t be able to do a photo either until he does it as it''s all wrapped up in it''s tiffany box and he doesn''t want me to open the ribbon or anything until he proposes. He''s been asking me about different holidays that I have from college so I''d say that I could be in for a christmas proposal. Another case of "boy soon"!! Oh well, it seems more real since he got the ring so I don''t mind waiting for him to do his thing now. Just so depressed to be back from NY. I would adore to live there and cannot wait to return. Hopefully he will surprise me and do it sooner than christmas but Im not sure if that''s going to happen!

Well I just passed the ring over to his loving care so hopefully he will do it soon. We have a bank holiday weekend in October and it would be really cool if he does it then-I really don''t think I could wait until Christmas. Although I''ve surprised myself with how patient I feel-I was much more antsy before we bought the ring. I''m happy to wait for him to do his thing now and I know that there is a beautiful ring in the works-I LOVE it. Out of all the rings that the assistant showed us, this one was the one that the two of us loved. I can''t wait to take photos and show you guys!!
