I just received my invitations and are very happy with the look overall. There were a few glitches,
like most of the crystals on my monogram shifted during shipping - I was able to fix all but three of them. There was a bit of glue residue on some.

The pricing was EXCELLENT and they look very elegant, high end with the exception of the envelopes.

The website I ordered them from ( they were custom made with my color/design ) stated the envelope would match the invitation . My card stock is QUARTZ. It is an off white with a bit of shimmer to it.

I received very thin - cheap white envelopes. They do no match the quality of the invitations at all.

NOTE to all of those who are ordering their invites...check out the envelopes as well..

I am going to call the designer who assisted with the order to let them know about the crystals coming off during shipping and another design variation ( a minor change but it looks good ) They forgot one of the layers of paper on my monogram tag - it probably looks better this way but it is not what was ordered ( and paid for )

How do I address the envelope situation ( they are already printed with guest''s and my return address )
Since we never discussed this - I just went by the website and never gave it much thought.
Should I send them back and get them lined hoping it would improve the look ? I have a few weeks before they have to be mailed. They should go or the firs week of September. Should I ask for a discount since it is not what I read from the website, and my other issues ?

Please remember to check out the envelopes as well. I spent so much time on the invitations - I forgot.

I also thought I could purchase some nice seals to attach to the back flaps of the envelopes.

Any ideas, or websites to look ?

I just sent back my invitations that had to be fixed, along with some of the envelopes.

It was my fault... I did opt for the standard white ones.

I read the email from the designer and there was an upcharge for the Quartz. Not that much , but I can''t believe I thought the white were going to be fine.

I am now having them lined in Silver for 75 cents each. Not too bad, but more than the cheap 45 cents I would of paid if I ordered the Quartz originally - and this included the reply envelope. I guess I was trying to save on the envelopes so I could splurge somewhere else.. Live and Learn.

I am only doing the ones for the VIPS, family, good friends.. the work people, a few neighbors I left as is...
