Grandma status postponed

Just an FYI, I''m not going to be a grandma after all. Unfortunately after some spotting and cramping, Ryan''s girlfriend is no longer pregnant. I feel for her. She''s taking it pretty well, but it''s still a big emotional shock I''m sure.

I''m sad about it since they both were so excited about having a baby. Looking toward the future, I would prefer baby making to be a planned event after marriage given the option, ya know. I guess it''s a combination of extreme sadness, wistfulness, and acceptance.
