We''re heading off for our annual week of torture--I mean *vacation*--with the family at the end of this month and it occurred to me that maybe I''m missing out on some good jewelry.
I actually lived there for a while, but it was years ago, before the boyfriend and I even talked about rings. So my list is short, but there is a stellar Tiffanys in The Mall at Millenia, and a place in that same mall called Rocks. They had a pricescopers dream collection when I went, lots of BIG, beautiful pieces. The Mall at Millenia is a very upscale place, full of stores I couldn''t afford as a college student, but all of the jewelry in there is fabulous, since it caters to the wealthy set. I know the general ill feeling towards mall stores is widely deserved, but this mall is not a mall in the traditional way we tend to envision a mall. It''s like Rodeo Drive with a glass dome roof, and every diamond you will find in said mall is awe inspiring. Rarely anything less than 2 carats, even at the Zales. Rocks gets my top vote, though, as they were very nice and let me try on a $31,000 ring they knew I couldn''t afford. The mall is right off I-4, you can''t miss it, it''s to the East of the highway, but if you have family there, they will surely know where it is.
