Argh, even though this gold rose pendant went up again, I ordered it because the inventory is limited. When I got my diamond pendant it was 50% off plus another 20% off, so it was $90 and the gold rose pendant was about $110. Then the rose went up to $137, and now $165. So annoying, but the overall amount is still low and I really wanted it. I did use Ebates - 4% cashback at Saks Off Fifth!

Very excited about my gold rose pendant, even though I lost out on the really good price. I think it's very vintage-looking.

I did get the gold rose pendant. While it's very nice, it wasn't the best buy. The chain is so delicate that it snapped at the part where the chain meets the rose, the first time I took it off. I paid $35 to have larger loops put on it either side. The rose is also smaller than it looks online. However, it's a very pretty pendant and having invested in it, I know I'll have many happy years of wear out of it. I see that it's sold out, so I couldn't have got today's price anyway - and it was showing as limited inventory at the time when I bought it. (This is how I comfort myself about not getting the ultimate price!)

I'm amassing a nice collection of delicate yellow gold pendants. I have a gold ice skate, a dragonfly with a diamond body, a gold rose, a gold love letter, and the gold diamond-shape pendant above. All are 14k but the dragonfly is 18k. I will do a thread on them all at some point. The rose, letter, and diamond-shape are all from Saks own brand. I didn't know they had such nice jewelry at such good prices! I really love the gold letter with diamond stamp from Tiffany but it's just way too expensive for me - many times more than the Saks gold letter.

I actually bought (and have received) the gold love-letter pendant with the diamond heart clasp, and it's GORGEOUS! I love it so much, I could wear it always and not have any other necklaces. I am wearing love around my neck in the form of this letter!
