Do any PS members own at least one gold bar?

What prompted you to buy?

Do you still feel the same way?

I don't, but I own a bunch of solid 24K gold bangles. I prefer having my gold in that form, although the thought of owning gold in other forms has crossed my mind. Many years ago, right before the laws about being able to get silver from the government changed, my cousin exchanged currency for a bar of silver, which I am sure he still has as a souvenir. I believe it is a 1,000 ounce size bar.

My sister used to have some as an investment. I am turning them into jewelry for her to wear. Much better way to store gold.
