Love ya Lisa .. but GO YANKEES!!! I''ve seen all the games so far & attended Game 2. My first World Series game & first at the new stadium -- a double whammy! (Also had good weather so, sweet!)

What''s up with the outright BATTERY of A-Rod though? Shameful IMHO.

I agree though, I am sooo tired today from staying up last night. I hate when the games start at 8pm, its so late. I will certainly be staying up for tonight's game no matter what time it goes to though!

Just my luck I have class tonight until 9:30. I can''t believe I''m missing part of the game. I actually considered skipping class for the game, but I have a test next class so I really need to be there. I figure if I DVR it starting at 8 and I get home at 9:45 and start watching right away, I can hopefully catch up pretty quickly if I fast forward through commercials and when nothing''s happening. I''m going to be so anxious during class though!

Ahhh, clearly I haven't watched games in their entirety (baby keeps me busy till 9pm!). That is pretty ridiculous--well whatever tactic they'rer using isn't really working...he's on fire. And you're right about Damon..I loved that steal of 2 bases!

We''ve been watching the games and the kids keep asking who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. "Which ones do we like?" I cannot remember which team we''re suppose to want to win so I try and change the subject to shopping.

But my DH is a HUGE Yankees fan and we live in the NYC area...this series has made for an interesting dynamic in our household!

Yep, that''s kind of what I thought. We''re Mariner''s fans and went to a few games this year, including a yankees. My husband kept yelling "A-Roid," It was really embarrassing.

Cdt--omg, your son is ADORABLE! I''m sure he''d look just as cute in a Philly''s outfit--can you and your DH trade off letting him wear the different teams during the series? Or, he gets to wear the winning team''s outfit?

I''m rooting for the Yankees this year...been watching the series and it''s been a good one so far--highly entertaining!

thanks monarch! I actually drove down to the area I grew up in last week specifically looking for Phillies gear and couldn''t find anything!!! I was sooooooooo bummed! My mom and I looked all over the place. I was surprised since where we live there is an overabundance of Yankees and Mets gear for infants at BRU and the like.

My DH says that means our son is "meant" to be a Yankees fan...boooooooooooooooooooooo

There''s nothing wrong with hope. It''s just not v. realistic in this case.

Ha, just some ribbing.

Seriously, a Yankee win is better at home..fans, new stadium, more $ for Steinbrenner.

They almost did a repeat of Game 4 last night (with Damon!), I think they''ll push it harder in Game 6. Weds willl be a great game..albeit freezing!
