My husband and I are alums. We love football. Tonight was a very good night for us!!!

For those of you who aren't college football fans, Notre Dame had a decisive victory to continue their unbeaten record. But just being unbeaten isn't enough as there were two other great unbeaten teams ranked ahead of us and on their way to the national championship game. But... they both lost tonight. So, we're number one!!!!!!!!!! One more game to get through and we'll be heading to the national championship game!




(Totally premature, but if we win the national championship, I may need a blue stone of some kind set in high carat gold to mark the occasion. You know, I'm all about supporting the alma mater. )

I am an Ohio State fan but also support Notre Dame because my grandpa played football there. I am glad they are doing well since we are all afraid that since he has had heart problems in the past he may have the big one yelling at them if they are losing.

Ha ha! I know the feeling. I always worry for my grandparents' health if their team isn't doing well. And my brother - well it's a miracle he hasn't had a coronary yet.

How exciting that he played football there! Yet another reason for ND to win.
