Barely! Sadly, though, my husband drives a 1991 with 120k miles on it. So what does that tell you?

Yes, on a technicality. His Car is an ''08 Infiniti that has depreciated since it''s purchase.

Wait, are we going by what price the car was bought for or what it can resell for?

If we''re going by the car resell price, then shouldn''t we be comparing it to the ring''s resell price (usually about 75%?)

Even compared to current resell price for the car, my rings and jewelery still total up to less.

Yes! We''re not into cars, but I am into diamonds . Our newest car is an 09 Toyota Yaris.

No, and I have a 5 carat diamond! We had a good year financially, met our savings goals, and decided to spoil ourselves. He got a new Porsche, and I got an upgrade ring. My ring cost about half the price of his car if that tells you anything about the cost of his car!

Yeah. My hubby doesn''t even HAVE a car - that''s how expensive my e-ring is.

Same here. DH has never owned a car. I, on the other hand, had to sell my car when I moved here.

Yup! We are a no car family, though sometimes we dabble in "zip cars" but that''s just a couple hundred dollars a year.

Well, my ring was bought used at the same time we bought his 81 bus. What we have put into the bus is triple what we spent for the ring, and it still does not run. So its worth less than the ring.

His other car now has 240K

My cars have 165K and 223K.

My jewelry combined is ahead of his cars, and close to our cars combined. Then again, I have bought 99% of the jewelry.
