Now that it''s ten years old, almost certainly.

Definitely not when it was new though!

Nope, not the car he had when he proposed or the car he got last year.

Ha, my first thought was NO WAY and then I remembered DH drives a crappy old truck with rust and dents. So yes, actually, though its kind of a fluke. It certainly isnt worth more than most cars!

right now this year yes... but it could change in a couple of years when/if he buys a new car

Not when FI''s car was new and still on the lot, but now my ring is definitly worth more!

nope

Considering we don''t own a car, the answer would be yes.

Nope, not even close. He loves his car and I can''t see him spending more on a sparkly ring than on his car.

Yes. DH''s car is over 20 yrs old.

Hahahaha.....this is a good one, DF!!!

No, it''s not even close. His car price is three times more than my e-ring.

Yes, hubby drives a very old Escalade.

Nope - not even close.

Not unless he totals it!

Nope... hmmm.. does that give me a reason to upgrade?

Hubby has two cars, one he bought new 10 years ago and one that was purchased used 2 years ago. So yes.

Yes.

BUT, my DH has drives a ''95 model. Were he to buy a brand new car, then my ring might be less.

Nope, we have 4 cars and they all costed more than my e-ring

Nope.

Nope. Give me a couple more years of depreciation and I can probably say yes!

Well, price wise, right now yes, my ring is more expensive but his car is a collectable or something so in the long run Iguess its worth more :)

Close call if we''re talking about his truck. But if you throw in his summer car, then no. But if you compare all my diamonds against his cars, yes. But if you throw all his motorcycles and guns into the mix, he''s way ahead. He already bought a Florida motorcycle because he didn''t want to transport one of the others from Michigan. So I''m trying to convince him that I need Florida diamonds. So far no go.

Barely! Sadly, though, my husband drives a 1991 with 120k miles on it. So what does that tell you?

remember the basic rules...a 5 yr upgrade or 100k miles which ever comes first.

Er...not if you live in Singapore...the car will usually cost more than most e-rings.

DH's Mazda RX8 when brand new cost USD89,500!!!

I love the price of cars in the US.

My e-ring is worth about the same as my hubby''s car, according to the Kelley Blue Book.

I was going to say that my ring is worth more than his depreciated car. But, if we were to try to sell the ring and the car, we probably would get more for the car. But, it would be close.

Haha, JD has a crappy old camouflage Mazda with a flat rack-I''m quite sure my ring is worth more!

It depends on which of his cars we''re talking about. It is definitely NOT worth more than his big Bubba truck, but it''s worth a little bit more than his old and decrepit BMW.
