yes/no ???

Depends. One small stud can be tasteful, but a guy all blinged out, with chains and studs and more chains...

.

I do think it''s harder to pull off in some professions - I''m in IT and noone thinks twice, but I can''t imagine male lawyers and finance analysts succeeding, really.

depends on the person...size of stud, age, how they carry themselves, hair style.Today I couldnt carry one off well.So I will have to stick to charm and good looks to attract the ladies.

My dear old dad (shortish grey haired balding guy with galsses) got one when he was 52 - ugh!

Now I realy should find him a better diamond

If the guy is 20-30 something and edgy in an Billy Idol kind of way, then it doesn''t look too bad.

I much prefer a small plain white gold hoop on older guys if they must have an earring
(my friend''s dad has one - it looks pretty good)

No.

Never.

It depends on the stud...

In this day and age it pretty much all looks normal to me - I think I prefer hoops on guys though - not big blingy ones, but like a pair of small thickish ones... they seem more masculine to me than stud diamonds. My husband is not into any of that - no tats or piercings or anything like that for him - ever. He''s made it clear. I could be totally fine with a variety of ear embellishments, but I think I like regular ears best still on guys.

They used to be a little more popular a few years ago. Now the only males I see wearing studs are baggers at the grocery store (teenagers with larger CZs).

As much as I`m crazy about diamonds, I really do not like them on guys...

haha, ditto!

Not on any man I''d be attracted to, I don''t like jewelery on men.

Not above the neck anyway..

It bothers me. People can do what they want. Just not FI ;)

I''m afraid I''m sexist because I think guys wearing a diamond stud is really cheesy. A plain metal stud or a small hoop is ok though.

Some guys can pull it off, some not. It can look really silly on the wrong person. Most men with diamond rings I''ve seen look great.

Ditto - my FI doesn''t have pierced eyes and that''s fine by me. He''s not into wearing jewelry but he''s not opposed to wearing a wedding ring

I''ve found it looks better on younger guys. My husband would look totally silly with one!

Thu hubs wears a small stud in one ear. I prefer a small titanium ball, he likes his diamond. *shrug* He swaps it out fairly frequently.

Same.

I wouldn''t like it on DH, but I do think it''s cool on the edgy guys and the hip hop crowd. Then Jon from Jon & Kate + 8 had to go and ruin the look by making it uncool.

I''m not really a fan of them on men. The only jewelery that I like on men is a ring.

DO NOT WANT.

I just don''t find them attractive on men.

And that Jon Gosselin picture actually made me LOL. He''s so tough, isnt he?

Ha, I was about to write DO NOT WANT and you beat me to it!

Yeah, no jewelry for men except for wedding bands and watches, please!

Thumbs down. Not a fan of studs of any kind on men.

But it's so much fun to use the men as models when you need to take pictures!

*This is from my great stud debate, and we were being silly. No, he does NOT wear an earring this big on a regular basis.

Isn't it????? When I visited home, I made my brother put it in his old earring hole. Can't believe it was still open! It looked huge on him! He was such a good sport. Your DH is very handsome.

Man, I kind of with DH had an earring hole so I could make him model my studs! ROFLMAO! Just think: DH EAR SHOTS!

That, and on NFL players.

No, not crazy about the look.

I wouldn''t mind if my husband wore a tiny diamond. Ten to fifteen points max, but he''s too chicken to get his ear pierced so it''s kind of a moot point.

I don''t like the look of both ears pierced on a man. My hub''s friend has both pierced and he wears small hoops.
He looks goofy. Kind of like a would-be pirate. Husband, father of three, both ears pierced? Nahhh!
