Does the stone flip at all? I have a TBTY pendant with a single diamond (it was my mom''s eng. diamond that I had a jeweler create a copy of) and it flips like crazy.

Yours caught my eye, so I am wondering about it. I don''t care if it stays stationary, it''s just the flipping that most pendants do.

Thanks.

Freke is having trouble posting but she asked me to post this for you.

Hey MC,

It does occasionally but because it''s so tiny, I don''t really notice. FI notices it more than I do. And it only does it right now during the hot weather I think, because my skin gets a little bit sticky, and the chain doesn''t let it stay flat.

Are you thinking about getting one?

Clairitek - Thanks so much for relaying Freke''s message.

Freke - I am thinking of getting one but will have to see it in person first to see if the size of the stone looks proportionate on me, plus I''ll walk around in the store to see if it flips. It''s such a great price. Can''t beat a Tiffany item for $125

. Only issue is none of my pendants sit flat on me. It''s frustrating. Even, my WF pendant tips down.

My kids are starting school in a couple weeks and then I''m going to go on a mini shopping spree. I''d love to get a few new fun things

New coat and a few shirts, plus the pendant. Low key enough that DH won''t become suspicious.

Hope your posting problem is taken care of soon. That must be driving you nuts!

Hey MC! I''m not Freke, but I have a DBTY and thought I''d chime in - hope you don''t mind. Mine has 7 stones, and several of them flip quite regularly. At first it drove me batty, since I''m rather OCD about things like that, but now I don''t notice it. The only time it bothers me is when it''s at the back of my neck (the necklace turned a bit) and the culet pokes me. But that happens rarely.

I just wanted to say I got this same necklace yesterday but with a 20" chain and it was flat every time I checked it. I''ll take pictures once the matching bracelet comes in. :D

I''d love to see it. How much extra was the 20" chain? The style only comes in Aquamarine, not amethyst, right (the site only shows aqua)? I had ordered a silver bezel amethyst necklace from BN, but the bezel looked too bulky (from the front view it was thin, but the side extended all the way back so the culet wasn''t exposed, so I returned it. It was a lot less expensive, but didn''t look right on me.

Thanks for you imput. I''m use to the pokey culet since my diamond one does poke me. My skin isn''t sensitive. I think part of the reason my single DBTY flips is I opted for a slightly heavier platinum chain than the standard Tiffany one so the necklace would have less chance of breaking. Seems the weight is unbalanced.

I actually asked if they were going to carry other gemstones as well, and I got this answer which was weird (We did aquas because they are cheaper and more people can afford it then)..

whatever that means.

OK, so the necklace is usually 16" to go up to 17" is $15 I think, and each additional inch is $1, same with the bracelet. So it was $18 for the necklace and another $15 for the bracelet (fat wrists apparently!)

I know exactly which necklace you are talking about from BN! I almost ordered it like 50 times. The Tiff bezel is SO CUTE and little, it is a tiny stone- .06 or .05 I cant remember, but it''s tiny and perfect. I hight recommend it. It''s also a necklace I could see passing on to a daughter (if/when) I have one. I wore it yesterday with a dressy T-shirt, jeans, and flipflops and it was really cute

Get it get it get it!!

A note though, if you want free shipping, order it through the store, or if you buy more than just the necklace Tiffany has free shipping on orders $175+ through August 31 on their website- if you wanted length added the necklace is NOT returnable and must be ordered either in store or over the phone. The price changes every now and then, I think it''s $300 sometimes, and other times $175 or so.
