Your thoughts?

I always pick the ones I like.

he he is buying, i voted on something we agree with. if i am buying, i go with what i love. fortunately i really only care for a few "smells"

We tend to have the same taste, so even if I pick out what I like, he usually likes it, too.

Perfume is a sickness of mine ( as many of you know

) so I tend to fall into both camps, I collect perfume so I tend to have some I wouldn''t wear but keep for '' historical value'', those I wear for myself that Hubby isn''t keen on and those that we both enjoy that I wear the most.

DH doesn''t wear cologne and washes with girly B&BW body wash, so I don''t often smell manly scents on him other than well, man. This morning he shaved and when I kissed him good bye he smelled soooooo good.

I pick what I like for me, for both of us

I wouldn''t buy something that he can''t stand. If he preferred something over the one that I loved, I would still buy the one I loved. So far, this hasn''t been the case. What I like, he likes on me.

somehow this question made me laugh -- i have always loved what my BF wears because it is the smell i would miss when i left him at night when we first met. can''t help but love it since it''s one of the strongest ways to trigger my memory. he loves the few things i wear because again, they''re pretty permenantly set in his mind as "me"

I don''t usually buy my own perfume, BF buys them for me as gifts. He''ll either get one he likes that he thinks I''ll like or one he knows I''ve mentioned I like before.

BF buys man perfume that he likes, but dosn''t wear it if I don''t like it. He''s had to clear out several of the old favourates because they give me a head ach or make me feel abit sick....they still smelt nice though. Now, he generally makes me come with him to buy it to check if I can handel the smell.

Mr Gailey phoned me from Dubai airport one time and asked me what sort of perfume I would like. I replied, "Fendi please".

He arrived home with "Fendi pour homme". I don''t let him buy my perfume anymore.

We have similar taste, so the scents I like tend also to be the scents he likes to smell on me. I wouldn''t buy somethind he hated, but neither would I buy something I didn''t like just because he did.

I always buy the ones I like. Although, my FI has IMPECCABLE taste.

He got me Rose Essentiele by Bulgari and Shine by Salvatore Ferragamo.

Both I love!

Scents I bought for myself that I wear: The Beat by Burberry, Baby Doll by YSL, Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel, Cool by Ralph Lauren, and (surprisingly) Curious by Britney Spears.

I picked the last option, that we mutually agree.

I wouldn;t buy one he didn''t like because I wear them for him.. not for me. Thankfully, he has very good taste

agreed! BF smells like a combo of fresh laundry, old spice body wash and dove soap to me. it''s actually kind of fitting...he''s a manly-man with a soft side.

as for the poll, i just pick out whatever i like. BF just happens to like whatever i choose.

I would love to have a perfume my husband and I both agree upon but the problem is...my husband seems to have a weak sense of smell. Because of that, I voted that I buy a scent that I love. I just got a new perfume today (Blvgari Rose Essentialle) and asked my DH if he liked it or not. I got the usual response... it smells nice. I think there is only one time that he really noticed a perfume I was wearing and made a comment. Because I change perfumes so often, I wish I could remember what it was!!

I buy what I love. If he had his choice, I would always smell like food...vanilla, chocolate, pumpkin spice.

Ohhhh that sucks! Especially since Dubai is sooooo cheap to buy perfumes! I always stock up when I go visit my father/friends!

I buy what he likes, D&G Light Blue.

Thanks for the responses! I''m a fragrance junkie. I''m asking this because my fiancee tends to buy a scent that she likes but somehow doesn''t quite agree with me. And when it comes to frags that we both can agree on, it is usually a compromise and that for me is not an ideal situation. So I''ve decided to buy her scents that I LOVE to smell on her (provided it agrees with her skin chemistry) and likewise, she''s free to get me a scent which she LOVES. But we''re still free to pick those that we like to wear to work. The ones we love on each other are reserved for our special evenings together.

I buy what I like and he usually likes what I buy. I spend a small fortune on bespoke perfume. I''m in the process of having a gourmand scent made. He loves gourmand scents. I LOVE Luckyscent. He knows exactly what I like. I''ll take perfume any day.

I find the "new" scents, but make sure DH likes them as well. Nice perfume is pricey too, so I want both of us to enjoy it.

I most often pick scents that I like. A bonus would be if he likes it too. If I go with something that he strictly likes, then even though I might have the best of intentions I frequently won''t end up wearing it.
