Foster/adopt Mittens the many toed kitty in NYC!

Hi guys,

My cat foster lady just emailed me about the lovely boy below. We fostered our kitty from her and ended up keeping him. She saves cats from the kill shelter uptown and gets them fostered out. Is anyone interested in fostering or providing a forever home for this boy?

I''m trying to convince SO that this is the perfect cat to test whether our cat can handle living with another, but there is still a chance we''re getting a friend''s cat in the coming months, so I wouldn''t want to get attached to another.

Foster Cat Lady says "Mittens is 1.5 year old, sweet and a super polydactyl! He looks like he is wearing high heels! He will be neutered on Sunday and I have to pick him up the same day. He likes cats (although he may have to recover from the surgery in a separate room)."

If you''re interested, let me know and we can figure out how to get you in touch with Cat Foster Lady! For the record, she described my Graham as "nice, sweet cat" and he turned out to be the world''s biggest mush of a lap cat, so I think she is one for understatement.

Totally. I also love his white neck. SO loves polydactyls, so I''m thinking we may actually get to have a real convo about fostering this one. "Test kitty" to see if Grahamski can handle another one, but we''ll see. I hope someone falls in love with him!

Amethyste, that is "technically" the rule in our building, too. Its so hard though, to see all these homeless kitties! And to know how many the kill shelters put down in kitten season.. Sigh. Gotta love a polydactyl, though, huh?
