Hello ladies in waiting...

So I thought it may be fun to start a thread on what you want your ring to look like. I definitely want something feminine and delicate. Has anyone seen this Harry Winston ring in person? I would LOVE to know what the ring looks like at different angles.

I loved the Lucida style rings, but after having tried one on... it looked too hefty on my finger. And I want 4 claw type prongs. I am not fond of thick prongs. The pave band can''t have holes on the interior of the band either. Anyone know why some rings are made that way? I would think the holes would get clogged & reduce the sparkle of the diamonds from the underside. I could be totally wrong.

gorgeous necklace! is your favorite color pink as well? i was such the tomboy growing up - i beat up the older kids who would pick on my twin brother, was the daredevil, and the stubborn child who refused to cry. ironically, i turned out the be quite the girly girl (sappy commercials make me cry) and my brother the wimp is now a 3rd degreen black belt, a west point grad, and a captain in the army. LOL

i''m surprised there aren''t more responses - is it because you have no photo of it online? after reading the anxious to get the ring thread and TOTALLY understanding the range of emotions of wanting the perfect ring, but letting your S.O. surprise you... there''d be more of "this is what i''m wishing for!" pics.

I have only just started getting into pink stones as I have always been a blue or purple kinda gal. I love pink diamonds and as they are mined in Australia (where I live) I keep telling my dearest that he can support local economy any time he likes

Of course i haven''t been able to find that anywhere, and I know BF won''t be able to figure it out, so...not a chance!

I, too, found the Lucida-type setting to bulky for my taste...I''d prefer something more delicate. it makes my chewed-up laborer''s hands look marginally feminine.
