Hiya hon. If you are serious about the pear pendant, I am happy to 'give' you the pear I've been eyeing. It hasn't sold yet and I've been watching it for a while. So, if you are in the market (it's around 3K and just under a carat) G VS. It's purty.

I don't think I'm doing the pendant this year. I was looking at my jewelry and I love my BGD pendant so much I'm afraid a pear would sit in a box all the time. So I'd rather do a blingy band for now.

Love that Dana band you are looking at. I wouldn't overthink the gemstone vs. metals pricing. Metals could go even higher before coming down.

Best of luck honey on the job search. It's so tough. So very tough. ((HUGS)) Hope to see you posting about your new job reward soon, whatever that is. As for diamonds versus metals. On the one hand I adore the Dana ring, but on the other... I think posting about it made me realize how much I want the garland. I kept hoping it would gain in the poll, and then I realized what I was dong and laughed. The heart wants what it wants I guess. And mine wants prongs and all round stones, and no bezels, go figure!
