Outdoor partial daytime wedding, lots of grass. Shoudl we do the whole sale order of assorted fliip flops for the ladies or not? The beach is a bit of a precarious hike so I doubt many will do it but for comfort flip flops might be nice.

Worth it or not?

we did them. Our entire wedding was outdoors though. And all the ladies kept thanking me!! Seriously, I got a lot of compliments on what a great idea it was. So I totally so it''s worth it!

I would go with the flip flops. As a guest I woudl really really appreciate it. If your budget will allow, I think it is a great (and thoughtful) idea!

We had them at our wedding and I can''t tell you how many ladies thanked me for being so thoughtful. I think your guests will really appreciate it. We got our from Old Navy last fall when they went on sale for $1 each.

I think flip flops are a fantastic idea.

Personally, I can''t dance in flip flops (LOL). I either need my heels or closed back shoes.

But after 2 hours in heels, those flip flops become the greatest thing since sliced bread

My planner suggested two places to buy flip flops but one of them doesn''t seem to have them anymore and the other ones has min. orders of 60-144 pairs! I only have 80 total guests!

Does anyone know of anywhere I can get them cheaper and in smaller amounts?

I don''t know. I''m not a real flip flop person. But I do tend to have ankles that both flip and flop around when I''m on uneven ground of any sort... so given the choice of breaking my ankle or my neck or wearing flip flops, I''d probably send YOU a thank you note for the thoughtfulness. I vote flip flops.

It seems like a good idea. I personally dislike flip flops and never wear them, but generally people seem to like them.

I bought some at Michaels for $1.99 (the art & craft store) for some STD''s I''m doing. You can also get them at Old Navy. They''re 2 for $5, and they have an array of colors. Hope this helps.
