First Baby!

No, not my baby

The first of my college friends have just had a baby. I am actually friends with both halves of the couple (we all lived in the same dorm) and it is just a little bit crazy to think. They just got married this past year, bought a house, and now they''re parents!

I am going to see the parents and the little one this weekend...they moved out of state, so they don''t have many friends there, but I have a meeting for work, so I am turning it into a business/pleasure trip

How exciting . Boy or girl? Only a few of my friends had babies in their 20s for some reason. Most wound up having them in ther early 30s. I had my little girl at 35! In my case it was because I didn''t even meet my husband until I was 30.

How exciting for them! Don''t be surprised if they''re looking a little shell-shocked by the time you see them!

The best thing about babies though, is that every ''stage'' lasts about two or three weeks. So if you don''t like it, just hang around, and they''ll change it for ya!
