Finger exercises - slimming down

You know that belly pudge when your pants are too tight? Well I have finger pudge over my ring.

I am pretty sure that there isn''t much to do to make our fingers thinner apart from doing overall exercise and dieting but I thought I would ask as I am reaching the point where it''s uncomfortable for me to wear my e-ring, and I would rather not resize it. So I''m throwing it out there - if there are any tricks for getting thinner fingers or finger exercises, I''m all ears.

Do you drink enough water and eat too much salt? Sounds like bloat.

Ditto this. Drink 8 glasses of water a day and cut back on your salt intake!

When I lost weight I went from a snug size 8 to a 6.5. My problem now is my huge knuckles...

I agree with the others though--drink water, avoid the sodium.

There is no way to loose fat from just your fingers with finger exersizes, you can''t spot reduce. If the problem is weight gain you''d have to loose weight all over to ruduce your finger size also.

I always size my rings just slightly on the loose side because I can''t stand the finger "muffin top" look. They''re not falling off or anything, but they''re not so tight that they bulge out over the band - I can''t stand that. Ditto the salt and water comments, and cooler weather is just around the corner - that may help too.
