Susan, when i met him, everybody told me that i should give up on him. They claimed that it just can''t work between continents AND with somebody that you haven''t known for a long time...Well... last summer we got engaged and coming May we''re getting married

Good thread Gypsy! It''s much tougher to be nice to ourselves than it is to beat ourselves up sometimes!

1. I''m really strong in a crisis. I''ve learned that I can handle more than I ever gave myself credit for and I can even be optomistic and positive while the sh*t is hitting the fan.

2. I''m an excellent wife and mother. There. I said it. And the best part? My husband and children would agree.

3. I have fabulous taste in bags and shoes! It may seem trivial, but a good bag and a killer pair of shoes does wonders for a woman''s confidence.

1. I work very hard in my job. I have a great bond with my students, and I think that shows.

2. I''ve learned how strong I can be when going through a very difficult time (It sure didn''t feel like it at the time though!)

3. I try to stay positive even when it''s sometimes easier to be negative about something (if that makes sense).

4. I''m a really good "mom" to our kitties.
