Favorite Season

Catwalk, as a Missouri native who now lives in new england, I will say that autumn here is nicer, however you guys have a great spring. Spring here is cold and rainy. I always tell my family to visit in the fall and I'll go visit them in the spring!

Not true seasons here, but I really enjoy our mild winters, lots of family gatherings, time off from work, football season, so many celebrations, including my B-day.

In my earlier post, I said that I like all 4 seasons for different reasons. My least favorite though is winter. I don't do any winter sports, and it's COLD and icy here. The only thing I love about winter is how pretty it is after a snow fall (and I love how the air smells just before-hand). By February though, I'm ready for it to melt. Driving through and seeing the brown and black snow and slush on the sides of the road gets old by then.

Spring is, well, almost non-existent here. My dad calls it mud season. Spring in NC is GORGEOUS though.

I definitely love summertime the most. I get cold really easily (I am the one wearing a coat while everyone else is wearing short sleeves), so summertime is when I am most comfortable. I also love barbecues, swimming, and the long days.

I do enjoy winter, but only a little bit of it! I love Christmastime, and cuddling up in the house with a sweater on. By January though, I am ready for summer again.

I adore fall. I love the bite in the air, the reds, oranges and yellows of the leaves on the trees and I love football. Specifically SEC college football.

After long, hot southern summers, fall is such a welcome relief. Less humidity, waaaaay less heat. You can actually enjoy being outdoors again. All that being said, while I LOVE ATL, the one thing I don't love is how long it takes for it to actually feel like fall. Some years it's late November or even December when it's cold enough for a SWEATER.

Summer, hands-down. I love everything about it. The other seasons have their moments, but there's nothing like a beautiful summer day.

This thread has me aching for the fall!

Me too ;(

Me, three! At least football is starting, school is almost in session, and sweaters are starting to show up in stores! Oh, how I love you, Autumn!

I love Spring! Fall is a close second! I'm in Fl so during spring the weather is just starting to warm up and the weather is still pretty cool so it's not too hot, but it's also not too cold.
