Hiya all. I gotta find packaging for my favors. I bought some inexpensive organza bags that ended up being too small and now am back to the drawing board. I had already purchased these favor tags (2x2 square) in orange so I want to be able to use them still:

Our favors are little inlaid mosiac boxes, handmade in Iran, and they are really lovely. About 2.5 x 2.5 by 1.5 tall. They come in all different shapes but here is an example of the style of them (though not the exact ones I have): http://www.farsesh.com/photog/066.jpg

Packaging options:
1. Most expensive at 1.50 a piece (not including shipping), these can be ordered in custom colors (but with the orange tags I''m just thinking about doing them in white with an orange bow threaded through the handle, with the tag hanging off). They are the perfect size-- 3x3x3 and are just so cute. But freaking pricey.

2. These are the most economical about $0.50 each with shipping, and easiest, although I don''t know where I''d put the tags.

If you look through this one though you''ll see what I''m hesitating, you can see the inside flap through the wall. They are the right size too though.

3. These are really lovely boxes that could be tied with cute ribbon and are the nicest in terms of quality as they are hi wall boxes (not the type you assemble the lids, these are hard lids that don''t collapse). They are about $1.00 each including shipping. My problem with them is that they are about an inch larger than they need to be at 4 x 4.

Could you somehow use double sided tape and put them on the front of the flower box?

Hi RR, I could. I was thinking about banding the flower boxes with a ribbon, then sticking the tags under the ribbon. Or using really sheer ribbon and just hanging the tags off of it, banding the center of the flower boxes.

I really like the first ones, for many reasons.

Choice b seems to be see-through plastic (from what I see) and I don''t find them as classy as choice one. Seems like a box I''ve seen at many stores (in-expensive stores...) sorry...

Choice c seems really simple too me, although with a nice colored semi-see through ribbon (matching your venue) with the tag, I would take them as a second choice. However, if you add the cost of a ribbon to choice C, it probably adds up to almost the same as choice a.

Good luck on your choice!

Actually I just figured out that I can get the more expensive ones for less. If I get plain white ones they are 1.00 each, and the textured white ones are 1.17-- before shipping. So, as you all seem to be voting that way anyway. I think I''ll for for these. THANK YOU ALL!.

What luck! I think they will look awesome, Gypsy. :)

I like all options. I am no help, but I can''t say enough about GLUE DOTS!!

I can''t even believe how amazing glue dots are. If any of you haven''t seen them and need to stick anything on favors or cards, these little guys are a godsend. They are hard to lift off, so I merely pressed the back side with the exposed dot against the place we needed it to stick and ...viola!

Sanity Savers Glue Dots

I sort of like the see through boxes if the inside is pretty. But I agree that the more formal look of the first box with the ribbon and label would be more elegant.

And did I mention Glue Dots?

I voted for the tall boxes, cause I really like the look of the solid cardboard. But couldn''t getting new, bigger organza bags still be an option? I used those, and I remember they came in tons of sizes, and they were still MUCH cheaper than the boxes from places online.
