Okay so I posted about the reception order of events in this post: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/reception-order-of-events-pick-one.93067/
After some discussion and thought on the topic I''m wondering if combining the two dances is a good idea. The Sinatra song is 3:22 long. Our idea is a bit over halfway to have my FI and his mom come up and dance the last part of the song while we dance off. Great idea in theory but then my FI''s mom would have barely a 1:30 to do their part. That cuts both dances short for our parents.
Would it be better (and more respectful) to give each of them their own song? Or is a nice short on/off version the best way to go? My FI was hoping for the short version since he''s not into doing the mom/son dance. He actually didn''t want to at all but his mom iinsisted. I thought it would keep the pace up as well.
Thoughts, suggestions, personal experience?
