Honestly? I think too many people let facebook "ruin" their lives. Seriously, stop putting everything out on the interwebs. Why trust FB to begin with? Do you know them personally? Have you gone to dinner with them and shared a sunday matinee movie? Just be cautious. Fb is now The Man of social networking. Should we always trust The Man? I know I sound like a paranoid delusional person, but this is why all of this stuff doesn't affect me. So what they changed the email to @facebook.com My email wasn't on there to begin with.

Personally, I think the Find Friends Nearby was released earlier than expected because I remember seeing it far before it was posted online. I thought it was cool but creepy. Mostly creepy.

THEN AGAIN, I have a private profile and only add people that I wouldn't mind if they knew where I was. No need to have 540 "friends" on their.

meh- I'd almost rather have that anonymous FB email on there than my personal one. Won't ever check it, but no one who knows me (and every single one of my friends is a real life, see on a regular basis friend) would ever try to use it anyway.

I totally agree. People do get so worked up! I thought this cartoon was pretty funny, because you are right. It is a business.
