Mine is my future engagment ring in a purple rose (obviously). My BF bought me the roses when I came home from a 3 day shoot up north where I was doing camera work for a doco set in a regonal park. After we got back and unloaded the gear, there he was with a smile, and big hug and a big bunch of purple/pink roses. It was the longest time we had been apart since he moved to New Zealand and we started living together.

I changed mine back before July 4; I had been looking for something patriotic, and just happened to have a photo from Fredericksburg, TX on file. Don''t know which church steeple the photo depicts, but I like the flag waving against our bright blue TX sky.

Mine is a photo I took of a Shasta daisy in my garden called ''Crazy Daisy''. I originally bought one for my crazy friend who lived across the road from me. I lost her 7 years ago to breast cancer - insidious disease. The photo is on my business cards (I''m a gardener btw). Every garden I work in regularly I plant one of these as a gift and in honour of my wonderful friend.

But gardening season will be wrapping up in a couple of months, so I''m thinking of a bit of a change. Watch this space .......

I find this tribute very touching and such a wonderful thing to do to remember someone special in our lives.

My avatar is one (of many) daylilies that I grow in my garden....nothing spectacular, but I love the color.

My Avatar is a dressage rider riding into the sunset. Dressage is my hobby. It shows such joy and harmony between horse and rider.

What is a Mandala? Do you color them with crayons? When I was younger my aunt use to have these books of geometric designs to color. I loved doing them and it''s a great memory of time with my aunt. Unfortunately I can''t remember what they were (if they were even something specific) or where I''d get them. This Mandala thing looks very similar and possibly a good subsitute?
