Excited! My 1.5 ctw studs are waiting for me at Fed Ex

I've been waiting to have these earrings forever! I just checked on their status and they have arrived. Stones are from GOG, settings from BGD. Now I just have to get out of work on time this evening to make it to the FedEx Center by 7:30pm. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I guess I won't die if I have to wait until tomorrow morning, but I'd be much happier if I could sleep with my new earrings in my ears. Just wanted to share. I'm soooo excited!

Begonia and Amy's Bling-Isn't that the truth? I wouldn't mind getting a new diamond more often! I'm quite envious of PSers who have amassed quite a collection in a short amount of time.

Thanks, Maisie. In theory, the day should be going by fast since I have a large amount of work to do, but I keep finding time to daydream of my studs and check this thread. I appreciate the thought though.

Enerchi-you are bad! But, trust me, it crossed my mind. What jewelry piece did you leave work early for? It would be easier if I had someone to cover for me or if I could get my work done early. My problem is I'm self-employed and I must keep my appointments for the sake of being accountable. If my professional reputation goes down, then I'll have to list my new studs on the pre-loved forum!

Lol. Well I guess you just have to hang in there and watch the clock!!

I didn't leave early but I Convinced DH to go home early for the FedEx deliveries for things in the past. Then -miraculously- I seem to have been able to finish my day early on those occasions. Weird eh??

Yay! So glad that you love them! I totally get the photo thing. I don't know why sometimes I do fine and other times, terrible. Calling Mother Nature...we need a sunny clear day so that we can get good bling photos!

I can tell you this:
My DH keeps complaining that all I did last night was look at my earrings in every mirror. We went out with some friends last night and I surprised myself when I looked in the bathroom mirror at the restaurant because they looked so big! (it's all relative...I'll post shots of my old studs so you can see where I am coming from) I wonder if DSS will ever start with these studs.....
I'm back at work today and probably won't be able to get pics up until later...

Thank you for reassuring me that I wasn't a crazy lady, Enerchi,

I'm still loving my earrings.
Here is one I took at work today. You can see what they look like at a distance. I'm still waiting for perfect weather conditions to get some hearts/arrow shots.

The other pic is with my e-ring, which I believe (I can't believe I'm forgetting! What kind of PSer am I?) the center stone is around .70. The halo obviously makes it look bigger as well as the fact that the earrings are inbetween my 2 fingers and my ering is raised. Who says your earrings have to be smaller than your e-ring?!? Rules, pshaw!
