Which one did you wear??

I picked up slim cognito and the hide and sleek to see how they go under my dress. I know at least one of them is going to be pretty hot. Higher power has that seam and it's more like nylons so I didn't buy it. I'm wearing a mermaid dress so I want to suck it all in as much as possible. I'm worried about the heat though!

Yeah, mine were hot!! And, they came down below my knees...probably just above mid calf. They also came all the way up to my bra. My dress was form fitting like a mermaid and the material of the dress sucked me enough. I just bought the spanx hoping that they would push some of my bum and hips up into my waist because I am more Beyonce than Paltrow and I my dress kept creeping up and lipping around my waist. Not uncommon as my stretch tees do it also unless they are really long.

I just have a tiny torso/larger hop ratio and I was hoping the spanx would help that a bit....it didn''t. It just made me self conscious that they band at the calf could be seen through the sheer bottom of the dress or when I danced. Plus it made me sweat more, and I hate that.

I didn''t have the patience to search through the various styles. But I will say that if you buy them, get the crotchless ones. I think that is what threw me over the edge. Having to try to get them back up and on and pulled all the way up. When I did that, someone help from the top of the dress and pulled the hanger straps out and they can been seen in some of the pictures.

I should have cut them off or checked for that, but your head in spinning at a wedding and one almost needs a personal assistant to check on you. Since I was busy checking the Bride, I didn''t check on me....

I think I know which one you had miracles... I TOTALLY get what you''re saying about the crotchless ones as well! I read some posts where some people weren''t that into that idea but I get how it works. I can''t imagine having to roll them down with a wedding dress on, eek.

Anyways I''m thinking of trying the higher power. My dress won''t show the mid-seam through it (I don''t think) and they are supposed to be lighter and cooler to wear since they are more like nylons... I hope...
