does he read them?

he only reads ones that i want to get his opinion on, i just summarize everything else to him when he asks what all i''ve talked about today

I just summarize things for him. Sometimes he'll glance at the screen to look at pictures. He already thinks I'm weird for being on PS so he is not surprised at all when I tell him about weird posts.

Getting self conscious, DF??

We discuss the things that I bring up to him because I found them interesting.

I occasionally show him pictures, or link him to pictures, especially if they are of animals.

He doesn''t get forums. He sees them as a blog ("are you blogging today?").

I only discuss the pregnant ps''ers thread with him. I like to tell him about who just had their baby and he''ll ask me from time to time how those girls are doing.

No. He thinks all the threads are weird.

My husband gets annoyed when I bring up PS. Probably because it makes me obsess over diamonds too much.

The only time I show him something is when it''s very unique. Probably the only thread I showed him in the last six months was the one where SDL had posted pictures of the beautiful kitty she found outside!

My SO loves the 'drama' threads, hehe. Every now and again he asks 'any drama on PS'?

He reads Reddit and we have a little game going on to see who knows current happenings first (for example, the Pixar story). We don't have tv so this is our main form of entertainment

ETA: Last night I just showed him Skippy's turtle thread, he thought it was so cute!

I don''t think DH even realizes that I post here. I''ve shown him pieces of jewelry that I thought were particularly stunning to drop hints from time to time, but he''s so clueless..... I don''t think he understands what this place is.

So doesn''t know what PS is, and I''d like to keep it that way. I don''t need him auditing my unfiltered thoughts, this is just an outlet for me. If he went through my posts, he could easily ID me, and the name and avatar would have to be a big clue, but he had his forums, and this is just mine

He has a vague notion of some diamond site that I visit a lot, and that is enough.

If I want his thoughts on something posted here, we talk about it and have a conversation. No way am I sending him a link!

does he read them?
Does he read them? Good God....... NO! If it''s not about a bass, he''s not the least bit interested.

I tell him about the interesting threads.

As a result, he refers to PS as The Crazyboard.

What can I say? We''re a colorful bunch ....

Ok, I should read the title before I respond! I didn''t notice the ''weird'' in there, so my apologies I did not mean to imply that the Pixar and Skippy''s thread are weird!

What qualifies a thread to be weird?

I hope no one gets offended because I''m not thinking of any PSer in particular, but sometimes I show DH the really crappy pics people post - you know, the ones so blurry that you can hardly make things out. We have a good laugh about those. Once I showed him someone''s hand pics when I thought they looked a lot like my hands (he didn''t think so).

My BF knows about the Dancing Fire questions and loves them. He sometimes asks if you are still doing them.

This is a good question, and yes, I''m quite often giggling to myself whilst browsing PS on our couch. He''ll often look over and say, "Oh, is DF at it AGAIN?"

He just asked, what are you laughing about.

He just want the gossips

Sometimes he askes me what I'm frantically typing...but for the most part, no. PS is my interest, him....not so much. I'll share with him stories, or happenings and I'll get a "oh, that's nice" or "oh, that's to bad"...but he's not actively interested, if that makes sense. Sometimes I he'll ask if "anything good is going on"...he tries.

Of course.

Weird can be quite entertaining.

I some times bring up things I''ve read here in conversation with him but he''s not particularly interested in my "Jewlery ****" website.

I don''t think I''ve ever shown him anything, just told him about them.

Confused. I can''t think of any "weird" threads. Just a bunch of nice, helpful people discussing things.
