Eeek! Made appt with Leon!

I just wanted to share my excitement with you guys! Im meeting Leon tomorrow and based on all the mixed reviews I''ve read here, I''m pretty darn nervous about working with him.
The setting Im interested in is the halo with pink diamonds. I think one of the PSers got it for his wife (lucky girl!) and I''ve been thinking about it ever since I saw the post. On the phone, Leon said he doesn''t recommend a halo for a 2.07 carat stone but he said I should come in and take a look anyway. Sooo excited!!
Will report back tomorrow.

Yes! That''s the one that I want. I just don''t know how the round stone will look with the pink halo. Also worried about the price of pink diamonds

Anyone have any round diamonds in pink halos to show me?

that''s a gorgeous ring. Don''t be nervous regarding Leon. I was and my fears were totally for nothing. He was very open to my ideas
and we spent hours working together. Just don''t be late, ha ha. He yelled at me when we were late dropping off our stone. It was not
our fault, and could not be helped. Guess Leon had somewhere to go that afternoon. But really, you will be fine. Please let us
know what you decide to do.

Hmmm... I''ve been doing alot of PS reading about 2+ carat RBs in halo settings. Alot of people feel that the halo would distract from the beauty of the ring. What do you guys think? Also, this is not an e-ring (it''s a I-survived-my-divorce present from myself!!) so I''m looking for something that doesn''t look too much like an e-ring. Any thoughts? I may have to post this on a separate topic!

I just got back from meeting with Leon. He was awesome!! Very friendly and informative. We sat there and talked for an hour and he showed some fantastic pieces that he had in his store. The quote he gave me for the setting that I wanted was reasonable, considering that pink diamonds are involved, but still it was double what I had planned to spend so now I have some number crunching to do

I may have to eat ramen noodles for the next 6 months in order to pay for this ring... and it''ll be worth it!!!
