education for gemology

Hi, I live in reno nv and I am looking for a class in gemology, can anyone help??

Check out the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) at www.gia.edu. They have a Distance Learning Department where you can complete classes from the comfort of your home. In the Diamond Grading class, they actually send you diamonds to grade. In the Gem Identification class, they send you colored stones to identify. It was a lot of fun.
