Wedding Early gifts....two thank yous?

I know it''s good to send thank you cards shortly after receiving wedding gifts, even if it''s months before the wedding, because that way the senders know you received their present. However, assuming the early gift-givers also attend the wedding, should we send a second card out after the wedding to thank them for coming?

I guess it depends on how many people you''re expecting! You will probably get most of your gifts before the wedding, rather than at it, so if you want to do double for everyone, go ahead, but I don''t think it''s all that common. Thank them for coming AT the wedding.
 
The guest can send the gift at any time,you are expected to send a thank you only once soon after the gift is recieved. A verbal thank you at the wedding for a gift that is already being used is a nice addition.
 
Nope, one is totally fine. Just make sure to thank everyone for coming at the wedding at some point. They''ll appreciate it!
