Hi everyone. My e-pics are in like 2 weeks so I need to go shopping. What kind of pants did you wear or did you wear a dress? Is casualish ok? I feel lost all of the sudden.
Any advice on colors and types of outfits would be great! It''s going to be mostly outdoors.
From other people''s photos I''ve seen, a dress is always nice. Don''t look too dressed up in comparison to your FI, but guys are always more casual, so you can be a little dressy if you want. If you don''t want. I think casualish is fine. What''s the weather like where you are? That will mostly dictate both what you want to wear, and what you are going to be able to find in stores. I think the most important thing is you wear something you are comfortable in and which you think looks great on you.
Thanks kittybean, I think I missed that I will check it out!!
I am hoping it won''t rain *ps dust* but it''ll probably be in the 60''s or 70''s here and hopefully sunny! Hehe. Also I am a plus-size..so it adds a bit of difficulty.
I will scour what I have and post some ideas later.
DH and I went for a more casual feel since we took ours in the spring and its always SOOO hot here. Standing outside in fancy dress and heels in 100 degree weather wasn''t an option. He wore some khaki linen pants and a light yellow polo and I wore a casual cotton skirt in navy with a white cotton tunic style top. We both wore nice flip flops and I had my hair done professionally.
The eggplant dress kitty posted is very pretty and would look great with he right accessories. I have heard that its a good idea to bring a sweater or jacket or something so you''ll have a couple of different looks for a variety of pictures.
FI and I are doing ours in-studio and I decided on this top in green and will be wearing jeans. FI will be in a tan colored zip-neck sweater and jeans.
I looked high and low for something to wear and finally decided to go with things that were ''us''. FI always wears sweaters in the fall/winter and I''m all over the place so I decided to go with something I looked good in
we just had ours a little over a week ago and i wore the outfits that i already had and were the most *me* - outfits that i felt awesome in and that i had gotten compliments on before and that i knew that stefan liked. we got him a white pinstriped shirt to go with the blue cotten dress i wore (fancier pics at a factory, field and park), then he had a brown stripped polo to go with the green argyle sweater that i wore for our more casual pictures (laundry mat). we didn''t really match, but i think we coordinated okay.
i had actually went out shopping and tried to find something new to wear, but after like two weeks of looking, i gave up and i''m glad i did. i felt really comfortable during the photo shoot and even confident, which i credit to the outfits
.
so i would advise you to get/wear an outfit that you feel really good in, whether it''s a wrap dress, polo shirt, sundress, or a sweater and jeans. only you know what you feel spectacular in, but everyone is going to be able to tell if you are uncomfortable, or if you feel great cause it will be written all over your pretty face! so wear whatever shows your personality and that makes you feel sassy or sweet or whatever
you could also ask your photographer if s/he has any tips to help you narrow down, or even ask if you could have an outfit change if you are torn!
Hi everyone! Sorry for being MIA, I will try to post some pics tonight or tomorrow night so you can help me decide! I have a dress I like that I might wear and I have some jeans and shirt combos, too. So I will start with that and then go to new I guess like Mimzy said. And kitty that is a really pretty dress! I have one kind of like it in black..that might be too harsh for outside though hm. I have brown, too. I could do the brown dress with brown boots I guess? I''ll post that, too.
