I have had a swollen gland under my left pit for years now and have had it scanned twice and all blood tests are normal... it fluctuates in size and I suspect (though have not done anything about) it may have to do with a food allergy of some sort... sometimes it really aches as well and I remember the fear that gripped me the first time I felt the swell. I think it was 5-6 years ago and it still makes me nervous but mostly I''ve just let go and keep trying to remind myself to make an appointment with a naturopath for some testing lol

A few years ago I found a lump in my left breast and I was as terrified as you; I went to my PCP who said that the swelling was the start of ''shingles''. He gave me a shot of something (can''t remember the name) and within a few days it was gone.

You are absolutely doing the right thing by visiting your doctor now. I hope s/he has re-assuring news for you.
