Dust for my Sis.

My sis is 18 weeks pregnant with my nephew. She has been admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics and fluids. She's had chest x-rays due to the other symptoms. They don't know what it is yet. Any dust that can be sent this way would be greatly appreciated!

Oh, of course SS, I'm sending dust and lots of positive thoughts your sister's way. I hope they can diagnose her illness quickly and she's on the road to recovery very soon. I know how concerned you must be, I'll be keeping your sister and you in my thoughts. Please keep us posted if you can. Try not to worry too much, and hugs to you.

Thanks for the dust, still don't know what it is. Know lots of what it isn't. AND, her doc is leaving town tomorrow for a few days so she'll get a new doc tomorrow. I wonder if he'll re-run all the tests or actually have a clue as to what's going on.

I'll post an update as soon as I know anything.

Still no diagnosis, just more antibiotic and fluids. They're thinking it's probably some sort of nasty flu but she had the flu shots so no one knows.
 
SS - Has she been checked for bronchitis? I ask because my sister showed almost all flu like symptoms but upon many tests she had severe bronchitis. Dust her way, hope they figure out what it is!
 
I will keep them in my prayers.
 
df~ Yes, initially they thought a bad bronchitis or pneumonia but all the chest x-rays are clear. She's supposed to be seen later this evening by the doctor again. waiting, waiting, waiting. I'll have her son tonight so I won't be visiting with her but will keep updated as I know! Thank you all!!

Thank you all so much! She's been released. I guess they finally decided it's pneumonia. She has more meds to take for the next several days but since she's finally hydrated and her fever broke earlier, she was released.

I love PS dust!

I'm so glad to read that SS. I hope she feels better soon, and I'll be praying for an uneventful remainder of pregnancy and delivery.
