You know, I think Epstein is the scum of the earth. That said, given that his case has already come and gone, if the fact that some inbred rich man's ex-wife borrowed his pocket change garners more attention than the Cleveland, Texas pedophilia case that is so far receiving such appalling coverage, I may actually implode with rage.

Sarah's biggest problem is that she hangs out with weasels. One after another. I don't know what it is about her judgment, except that she just doesn't have any. Does not seem to learn from her mistakes. Sad.

I want to know what she does to keep getting in financial trouble.

I'd also like to know why she and her ex-husband feel entitled to leech of other people like this (loan or not, pedophile or not).

Finally, I'd like to know- doesn't her ex-husband have money of his own (or any judgment himself- he arranged this)- can he really not afford to give her money, if she needs it so very badly?

Maybe we've had this conversation before (or maybe not). IMO the media is a corporate owned mouthpiece, and all standards of objectivity and professionalism as regards to journalism are dead. Not to put too fine a point on it. But this (the media) is a separate topic. I have no love lost for the media, Circe.

She is not the smartest person on Earth, but the media's attention always focuses on her, while, frankly, her ex-husband is no better. I guess royalty still gives you immunity. I feel sorry for their two daughters.

I was looking through my old posts to find something and I suddenly realized that I had intended to reply to this thread, but hadn't actually done so!

I feel bad for Sarah, how exactly was she supposed to know? Really, how was she supposed to know the background on this guy?

Her money troubles perplex me; I know that some members of the royal family don't actually get much money, but doesn't she get any? Is it just not enough? "Poor thing" is my first thought.

I'm one of those that think "there but by the grace of God (Buddha?) go I", obviously. I never say never, and I'm always aware that bad things CAN happen to me. So, I have sympathy on her, she's obviously having a bad time.

Then my second thought is; is this really news? I think they just like to drag any piece of nonsense out that they can, as long as royalty is involved, it sells papers. Seriously, I think this chick needs a break.

I could be wrong, but Im under the impression that she gets about 35,000 DOLLARS a year from her ex and his family or whatever entity their finances are hidden by. It's a paltry sum that likely covers her dry cleaning bill. Leona Helmsley's dog got a better deal. I imagine her upbringing and life experiences leave her ill prepared to do much of anything except orchestrate strategic introductions between known nefarious business people and the upper crusty ones who have kept heir names away from their less reputable business entanglements. Surely giving her a livable sum and a condo on some island far away would have been more cost effective to the ex-mil and spared them so many embarrassments.

I think I read recently that Sara will have a show or a recurring spot in Oprah's new OWN network. Apparently Oprah was blow away by Sara's story and they became fast friends.
(Or maybe Oprah sees good ratings) ??
