Drew Peterson arrested!

It all went down today...Thursday...and was a long time in the making...but Drew Peterson was finally arrested for the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

Even has he was being brought in on the charges, he joked about how he should have returned his library book (

way to take it seriously, Drew).

For anyone who followed the case, this is extremely happy news

. Hopefully we''ll now see a break in the case that really made Drew infamous, the disappearance of his fourth Stacy Peterson.

As I''m watching the news, these are things I am learning...

1. He was driving Stacy Peterson''s car

2. He is being held on 20 million dollar bond

3.They seached his home immediately following the arrest, which occured by swarming his car at an intersection.

4. His children are now in the custody of DCFS...but will be turned over to Drew Peterson oldest son, to whom Drew gave $200,000 originally for just this reason.

5. The reason it is speculated that this went down as it did, is because Drew Peterson was supposed to leaving for Nevada early tomorrow morning to have a discussion with the owner of The Bunny Ranch, where Drew would appear in the reality show (The Cat House) and head up security.

It''s interesting to see how this will all play out. Maybe his new fiancee will finally get it that he''s a shady mother and flee.

Something always stunk with his many, multi-layered stories.

Glad to hear this, hope he''s convicted and rots in jail. I detest him, his attitude, everything about him. I lived in the west burbs when Stacy disappeared and I remember seeing him on the news laughing and joking about her disappearance. He disgusts me.

Because it all went down so close to where I live, I guess you can say I was extra interested.

When Stacy first went missing, my husband, my mom and I all went on a couple of the volunteer searches. It was very somber, and just being around the people who knew Stacy--you kind of knew that she just didn't leave her children.

At one point, I was privately contacted by the people who organized the searches when they were seeking permission to actually search the land of a building I own in Bolingbrook (which is considered private property). Of course I "okay'd" it...and after the intial request, they made several searches on my lot--which is heavily wooded in the back, and sort of a "cop hang out" after dark.

I've read both of the books written on the subject...one pro-Drew, one anti-Drew. And of course I've followed the story from jump street.

I think he's guilty. Gulity as sin. I honestly believe that he has Stacy in a blue barrel in a storage unit he's rented under a false name. That's my gut feeling, so of course it could be wrong. But I know his not innocent by any stretch of the imagination.

I hope that his recent arrest will honestly bring some peace to the families...and also justice for the two women.

I just heard on the news, a badly decomposed body of a woman has been found outside of Chicago...they are doing an autopsy to see if it is the body of his ''missing'' wife.

There is also a blue barrel nearby, the same kind that a relative said he saw in the Peterson garage the week she ''left town''. From that info, sounds to me like it is probably her remains. I hope they get this guy for BOTH murders! he is a SICK man.

More damning news. And so glad his bond wasn''t lowered, hopefully he''s not ever going anywhere, except to different diggs. I always thought he was guilty of Stacy dissappearing, and the 3rd wife after hearing enough info.
