I went dress shopping with my mom today and found two dresses I really love. One is a Maggie Sottero and the other is a Sottero and Midgley. Since I love seeing picture of you girls in dress I thought I post some of me! What do you guys think of these? I know I look like I am about 12 years old- but I'm not! I'll be 27 next week

Those are both pretty! My dress is a Maggie too and I love it!

Number 2! Love that neckline!

I really like both but I think I prefer the second one a little more. I''m not sure why though. Maybe because it''s not quite as busy on top as the first one is. I''m not a fashionista, so I have no idea what I''m talking about, but that''s what popped in my head when I saw the dresses.

So, how much help was I, really?

I really like both of them!

I get the age thing too people find out I''m engaged. They think I''m still in high school when I''m 25! LOL... I guess we could have real problems though, right?

And I vote for #2. :)

Thanks for the replies! I think that I am leading more towards dress #2. My wedding will be in Bermuda so I don''t want to go with anything too heavy.

Both of them are beautiful and look great on you, but I think I prefer #2. No particular reason, I just think overall it compliments you better. Either would be beautiful, though.

Beautiful dresses. I like the top peeking out on the second dress, but both look lovely.

Today, the lady waxing my eyebrows told me I look like I''m in junior high when I told her I teach eighth grade.

I like #2 a little better, but I think they are both great (I actually had to look at the pictures several times to realize it was two different dresses). What I think I like about #2 is that it flares out a little bit more...maybe a little more dramatic or something...

They are both beautiful!!

I like the 2nd one better based on the above pictures. The first one is not draping well in that photo, but that is probably because it isn''t your size.

I would like to see more picture angles. I''m a photoholic.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding. Nice location!!

both are beautiful dresses but i like #2 better on you. #1 looks as if the dress is waring you.

Honestly, I think both swallow you right up. You look like an itty bitty thing and it''s like you''re drowning in taffeta...You look like you have a nice curvy but petite figure so why not try on some dresses that are more form fitting? I think style closer to your body would look fantastic on you and let YOU wear the dress, not visa versa.

I was thinking the same. Maybe it''s the fact that they''re a bit big on you so they might look different when they''re your size, but they do swallow you up a bit. I prefer number 2 out of the two of them though.

I agree.

I love this one too, it looks great and really accentuates your little waist. My dress is a Maggie too! LOVE HER STUFF!

This is a good point. Although from what you posted, I still think #2 looks best but it does make you look like a little overpowered by the dress. I was thinking however, that could be because they have not been altered. Did they let you try it with the clips in the back so you can get a better feel for how it will fit?

#2 really shows off your figure. Check out how it defines you itty bitty waist.

I agree, but if its between the two, i''d go with the second choice.

I see what you guys are saying. I did try on another dress that I liked that was a bit simplier. I don''t have pictures of me in it, but here is one from the website.

Oooo, I bet that one was stunning!

I most definitley prefer the criss cross at the top of dress #2 on you, seems much more flattering and draws the eye up to your face, but agree that they both swallow you up.
