So I think I''ve tried on every dress in TN, as well as every dress in Chicago. I''ve only falled in love with one, the Melissa Sweet Dora, but there''s no way I can justify the price of the dress! I''ve been obsessively checking a billion preowned wedding dress sites a day. Yesterday a Dora came up on preownedweddingdresses.com (FYI for anyone who is wanting one!) but after looking at the girl''s wedding pictures, I don''t think there is any way my 36DDs are fitting in her size. I''ve got a little under a year until my wedding, but I''m starting to get worried that I will never find a dress I live (and can afford!)!!

What size would you need? I'll totally help you look...

ETA: And if you're comfortable sharing your budget that might help the search, otherwise I'll just find all that I can

I am in the $2500 range, so that gives me a lot more leeway, but I am still having trouble!

I appreciate the offer for help. I''ll take any assistance!

Wow! For that budget, you could fly to Atlanta or some other largish city and buy a dress there and then get it altered at home. My budget is around $600-$700, and I have found several possibilities so far.

*these are all listed online, but you might have to message to see if they''re actually still available*

MissManna - Sorry, I don''t know how to copy links to past threads, but below is advice I got from PS user karasue91 when I was look for a preowned MS Dora.

One thing I tried is I watched Ebay for any Melissa Sweet dress, and when I saw that one seller had a lot of Melissa Sweet, I figured they are probably a bridal salon and I contacted them directly to see if they had any Doras they wanted to sell. I found one seller who owns a bridal shop in California and who offered me to buy the dress brand new for $2800. At this point, I wish I had just done it and not bought the first dress (and then I wouldn''t have had doubts and bought the second one - both dresses combined have obvously cost more than the new one for $2800!!!). At that point I decided $2800 was still too much to pay, but now I wish I had just gone for it. The salon was an authorized seller on the Melissa Sweet website, so I felt pretty comfortable ordering from him, and I did a google search on his name to make sure he was an owner of the salon.
