Ok, I know I''m not the only gamer girl on here. Has anyone else been sucked into Dragon Age, or am I the only one spending an inordinate amount of time on the couch? My DH and I have been taking turns playing our respective characters, and one of our friends wants to just beat the game already so he can "get his life back".

Anyone?

I''ve played it through once already and have started a second go. All those empty achievements were sitting there mocking me.

I''m on my first play-through, though I''ll probably play again given all the story options there are. I''m getting a kick out of the relationship options in the game as well. My DH keeps telling me "this isn''t the Sims!"

Good stuff

Haha, I think my favorite relationship so far is between Alistar and the War Dog

My FI has gone through the game twice now. Once as a good guy and once totally evil. He took a mental health day just so he could play it all day. It even sucks me in to watch it!

Ooh sounds interesting. Is it PC based only? Freeware (pleeease say it is lol) If not is there a trial option? Would love to check it out :)

smurfy, it''s on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 I think? Unfortunately not freeware. DH picked it up on sale for $40. Definitely worth the price because it''s got hours and hours of gameplay. Hahahaha, sba, my hubby is thinking about doing the same thing! I get a call on my phone, and it''s him asking, "Should I raise my strength or my constitution next?" lol!

It sounds a little like (and forgive me for completely nerding out here) a bit like D&D if there is strength and constitution? Then I would probably have to go buy it right after work lol

p.s. I bought dh d&D elven dies from poland for christmas

Hehehehe, no worries about nerding out! I used to play D&D in college with my friends. I think it''s based on a lot of the same rules as D&D. Leveling up, skills, talents, classes (rogue, mage, warrior - with specializations). I may be wrong, but I think it''s by the same people who made Baldur''s Gate. The writing in it is really good, as is the voice acting.

Be warned. It''s addictive!

It''s similar to D&D but not the same system since Wizards of the Coast keep a stranglehold on the D&D system.

Aloros: Yes, BioWare did make the Baldur''s Gate series.

My husband has been playing, obsessively, for a few weeks now. I''m not really a gamer, so I usually run from the room while he''s playing. I''ll stick with Mario on the Wii. ;-)

DH has been playing it on the PC. It seems to me like there''s a lot of dialogue in this game! Every time he plays I''m like "is there some actual playing in this or it''s all just talk?".

I play some games, but I wouldn''t say I''m a gamer. I get bored quickly and I''ve never gone through a game more than once.
