Wedding Donation Favors

Just wondering how many people will be donating money to a good cause in their guests honor as favors and which cause are you donating to?

The cause I chose is a local pug rescue!

we are going to make a dontaion to our local humane society (since our furry "kid" came from there) no little boxes of candy for us!

I organized all of my registries under the weddingchannel.com and they allowed me to select a charity that they would donate a portion of money to for each gift purchased. It''s not a ton but it''s better than nothing. I thought it was pretty neat.

A dear friend of ours lost her 7 year old daughter after a lengthy battle with neuroblastoma. (a rare children's cancer)
She started a donation in her name to help hospitals build better Child Life Centers.... where kids who are in hospitals for diseases can do crafts, play with others, etc.

We ordered bracelets with her donation name on them (just like the livestrong bracelets but in a different color!) and had those with a card explaining the charity.
It was so awesome because everyone wore their bracelets! If only for the minute they put it on, they were thinking of her it was worth it. We thought it was a great way to honor her memory!

I just LOVE donating to whatever charity of the bride and grooms choice. Seems such a better way to spend $2 a person (or whatever)
