I'm looking to purchase a new car and I'm torn between the Chevy Cruze and the Nissan Altima. I'd like a car that is well equipped but I don't want to spend more than $25K. Chevy cars are a staple in my household so I'm leaning towards the Cruze. On the other hand, since the Cruze is a new model, I'm hesitant that it's not a great car. There are pros and cons for both, like I want leather seats and they come standard with the Cruze but I have to pay extra with the Altima. However, the Altima has a push start ignition, which I would really like.
Also, this is the first time I've ever purchased a vehicle (my mom has always been the purchaser), and this car would be fully paid for, not financed, so I'm unaware if the dealer would give a discount for "cash deals".
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
ETA: I'm also considering a VW Jetta, however it's not as high on my list.
