I have one, love it! Its definitely quieter then any other dishwasher I''ve had.
My husband said KA are made by GE and the reason we are getting a new DW is because our GE just about caught on fire. Smoking, burning, etc.Date: 10/20/2009 10:36:53 AM

I am on my 2nd Bosch dishwasher.
My current model is the SHX 68MO6UC
I think my previous model was 1 step below what I have now.
Anyway, IMO, most Bosch model are very quiet. I don''t even know mine is on
unless I look for the red light that shines on the floor indicating it is still on.
But my biggest gripe with my current model is that the dishes are still damp when the cycle turns off.
To get them bone dry, you have to open the door and leave it open a bit.
My salesman explained this is just the way they work. But I don''t remember my
old one being that way. They have ''condensation drying time'' at the end of the
cycle. The manual reccomends opens the door, pulling the top rack out, to
complete drying. Kinda a pain. Especially considering how much they cost.
You might ask around, but I have heard some of the top of the line Kitchen Aid
DW''s are very quiet.
