Not really, no. I don't think so, at least I hope they don't.

I know loads of people with all kinds of weath, some have diamonds and some don't. It doesn't matter to me. My material possessions do not define me, nor should they be the basis on/ for which others should judge me or be envious of me, esp. not my friends.

Why, are your friends envious of yr diamonds, DF?

I think so and it makes me feel bad.

I choose to spend my money on different things to them; usually I save up for months or years to buy one luxury I honestly feel that they think I am wasteful or super-rich.

It is more of an intuition than anything and I would never mention it IRL because there is a 1% chance it is just my projection.

Two coworkers but I am envious of their respective dogs (a doberman and a greyhound) since I can''t have a dog, so it works out.

I rarely detect envy it but several have expressed appreciation for it.
Everyone notices it.
Not many men wear such a diamond.

Out of my friends, I''ve gotten a few just oogle my ring and rave about it over and over (specially when we''re drinking and playing poker) but I don''t think I notice envy just appreciation.

I do occasionally have girlfriends or nee people take interest in my ering, but not in a jealous way (that I picked up on).

My one friend is sort of envious of my e-ring (whenever we go out together I catch her eyeing it) but I think it''s more the fact that I''m happily married whereas she just ended a bad marriage. come to me an ask advice though and are surprisingly interested in my opinion. A good friend just had a ring made to replace a broken wedding ring. It''s a beautiful tourmaline that just fits her
personality. I was surprised to hear from other friends how much she wanted me to like it.
