I don''t wear a watch . . . mainly because I don''t own one! I use my cell phone to check the time, and I''m 30.

I would like to have a nice watch someday, though . . . maybe even a Rolex???

I don''t wear one. Maybe if I had a nice one....I just look at my cell phone for the time.

I wore a watch every day till I became a SAHM, in part because I needed the second hand at my job. At first I didn''t wear one because I worried it would scratch the baby when I picked him up. I have a basic Skagen watch that I love but almost never wear it these days. I use the cell phone method like Tacori.

My parents got me a lovely watch when I graduated from law school - I wear it every day.

It not only has the time but the date...

I feel naked without it!

I wear my watch all the time - I only take it off to shower. I do have a cell phone, but I never use it to check the time. The cell phone stays in my purse, which is usually on the other side of the room. The watch is right there on my wrist - much more convenient.

I am 26, I work in a lab and find wearing a watch very cumbersome - it gets in the way! I wear my e-ring, earrings, and that''s pretty much it.

My FI wears the watch I gave him as an engagement present every day though. He''s 30.

My watch is a prized possession so I do wear it daily, plus I would be lost without a watch.

I feel naked with out my watch. If I am in a meeting I feel it rude to get my cell phone out and look at the time.

I''m a 25 yr old daily watch wearer!

my watch! I brought it back from Switzerland last year so it''s got a lot of meaning to me. (Though I wouldn''t be opposed to collecting more, haha)

I do now when I remember it. Never could because I was allergic to the metal. When we went to St Aug for the 4th of July weekend, I got one that I can wear.

I wear a watch. I feel naked with out it. Yes i could look at my phone but I don''t want to have to go into my purse just to see what time it is.

Plus watches are kinda like jewelry!

Thanks everyone! Makes me feel a bit better! (I''m 49)

I wear them until I lose them.

I''ve lost four since hubby and I met, which was only a bit over four years ago. I know, it''s horrible. Those darn clasps . . . I''m 27.

Hubby wears one every day, he''s 38.

I don''t think any of my students wear watches. In fact, I''m sure they don''t because they ask me the time a million times a day. Apparently, they can''t look up at the wall and read the clock, either.
They''re in high school.

I read an article recently about how the watch industry is expected to fade significantly. I think that''s sad, I love a man with a great watch, they look so good.

I wear my watch every day and would feel naked without it. I carry a cell phone in my purse, but it is much easier to look at my wrist than to drag the phone out to check the time. Plus, at work, my phone stays on its desk-top charger all day, so if I am away from my desk I have to rely on my watch. I''m 36 and have worn a watch habitually since high school.

My watches are just another piece of jewellery, and I wear one every day. I recently bought my first two "good" watches and I love them both. One is a Zenith automatic on a stainless steel bracelet, the other is the George Jensen Vivianna watch. I''ve wanted the Vivianna for years, but the Zenith is my every day watch.

I wear one at work. Otherwise, I don''t like the feel of it. I''m the same way with bracelets.

Do you have that tradition that when a guy buys a girl a watch it''s a sure sign he''s about to buy the engagement ring?

WOW..you and hubby are about a decade apart in age?
My mom and dad were 18 years apart (my mom being the younger). This leads me to start a new thread.....

I do, I love them, but occasionally I leave it off for no good reason. But I do have a bit of a watch obsession I admit.

Maybe this has something to do with it? I started wearing a watch daily in high school as well. (I had one with Mickey Mouse, and then one with Garfield!) I certainly didn''t have a cell phone in high school that I could use to check the time. People who are younger and who had cell phones at that time maybe developed different habits?

Although, I still think it''s more of a pain to dig my cell phone out of my purse than it is to look at my wrist!

cell phone don''t work for me.i would have to reach into my pocket and take out the cell phone just to check the time?.

No watch. At home I love using a timer though to move from project to project to project.

I used to have an Ironman Timex, that I wore when I ran... but I lost it somewhere between San Diego and here.

I use my Mogul to see what time it is right now...

My wrist is on strike until it gets the Rolex it is demanding. It says it likes this one:

Yes, and I love it. Not only do I look at the time constantly, I see it as another piece of jewelry. THis is the new one I just got for my b-day:
