My ering is considered big by UK standards so I''m not surprised when people have a look, especially when I''m travelling on the train to work.

I get compliaments from men as well as women on my ering

sigh, i love my ring but strangers only comment on it from time to time. the mail lady, and some people I didn''t know at my best friend''s bridal shower...

I also live in a neighborhood where there is a heavy focus on image and material things so my little 1.13 isn''t particularly breath taking to anyone.

all of my friends and family have been very complimentary and impressed. I don''t think anyone else has commented, which makes me a little sad. I thought I would at least get comments on uniqueness, since I have a trillion center.

It''s one carat, but faces up a little larger at 6.98mm x 6.64 mm.

At any rate, I rarely notice jewelry, and I have NEVER complimented anyone on their''s, so... I guess it''s no biggie. I love my ring. But, I''d love some compliments too!

I sometimes think that people are looking, but not saying anything, but it might be wishful thinking...

Clearly I need to attend a PS GTG to get some compliments!

Yes, I have noticed people trying to sneak a peek while we are talking or something... I think it''s really because I have a setting that isn''t too common (at least around here). It IS awfully sparkly, though!

I read Mara's post above about people following your hand when you speak, I had that all the time when I was working in Singapore!! To the point that I thought I should stop wearing my ering, since I clearly wanted them to follow what I was saying, rather than being distracted by my bling, LOL!

But I suspect that in Shanghai where I now live, most people think my bling is fake, which is GREAT! I know they're not and I love wearing them for *me*, so the less risk (of being mugged) the better!!

I LOVE checking out other people's bling, he he!!

Nothing better than going to Hong Kong or Singapore to drool over the HUGE diamonds there!!
