I don't have a Tacori, though it was the runner up for me. I ended up with a Daussi and I don't really tell anyone who the designer is unless asked. Then again, I mainly get asked about what kind of setting it is, since most people around where I live really don't know what a halo setting is or a cushion diamond for that matter. I've gotten lots of compliments about my ring's uniqueness and I just tell everyone that my FI did an amazing job and thanks for the compliment.
I've been on PS for seven years and have no idea what a Daussi is! lol Hadn't even heard that name until I read someone asking about it in the SMTR forum in a post started today! Blank stare from me

I would not tell them it is a designer ring. If they compliment it; I would say thank you. If they start asking me details I would answer their questions but not offer up any details unless they directly asked me that question.

I know you''re excited, but I wouldn''t mention it unless someone asks who makes it.

On here its different, name drop away. My ring is completely custom and I''ve talked about it and the process extensively on here, but the only time I''ve mentioned it in real life is if they''ve asked. Most people don''t care, they just see that its a sparkly ring.

This is a great point! On SMTR, we can shamelessly brag about our rings

Where else can people ask for specs and no one thinks twice about it

if they say its pretty just say thank you - if they ask where you got it you can tell them - if they ask what brand it is, tell them.

It''s really not a big deal. I never thought of Tacori as being something intimidating. On the contrary - most people will never ever have heard of it so why bother mentioning it unless they ask?
