Do you SNOOZE?

I feel for you, Sabine. And all you others who live with snoozers. DH isn''t a snoozer. I won''t let him. But, he does forget to turn off his alarm when he goes out of town.

I am a huge snoozer. I love to sleep, and I especially love to steal extra sleeping minutes in the morning after my alarms go off. (And yes, I require multiple alarms if I am to actually wake up and get out of bed before the nines.)

I''m better now than I was back in high school. I had to set my alarms up across my bedroom so I would be forced to physically get up to turn them off. Now I just curl up in bed with the offending alarms, fingers poised on the snooze buttons, and I hit those suckers the moment they start to peep.

DH does not snooze. He hears his alarm and gets right out of bed. DH doesn''t complain about my snoozing habits. He only complained when I taught high school and had to wake up in the fours. That''s ridiculously early, and I am especially cranky at that hour.

I''m happy waking up in the eights. I''m human in the sevens. I tend to be a bit puffy and mumbly in the sixes. The fives are really pushing it, and the fours--well, I''m just a big, cranky monster when I have to wake up in the fours.

I'm guilty of a version of this crime.

I set the alarm on my Blackberry in addition to the alarm on my nightstand. I also have a bad habit of misplacing my Blackberry in our small home on weekends. Most Sundays I hear DH padding around the house and mumbling to himself as he roots around in my pockets and purses to find my bleating cell phone. I never can remember to turn off that alarm on the weekend.

The worst part is that it doesn't even wake me up, but DH can hear it from across the house.

Never! I despise snooze. I can''t get back to sleep when I know the alarm is going to go off again in 10 minutes.

this is me! Once in a while DH will hit snooze for about an hour and it makes me so mad b/c I''m still trying to sleep!

hubby sleeps well and = no snooze.

me i do not sleep well and adore, worship and think snooze is divine.

I am a super snoozer but I wake up as soon as the alarm sounds and I set it for long before I need to get up. DH will let the alarm sound for minutes before he touches it. I used to nudge him at least 3 times before he would shut it off. Years of this conditioning has taught me to sleep through his alarm, just shameful.

I''m a snoozer and so is DH. I will hit the snooze button at least 2 times in the morning.

Snoozer here! I usually snooze around 3 times. DH and I have both become immune to the sound of the other''s alarm though so it''s not an issue anymore.

No I do NOT snooze! I''m soooooo glad that SO doesn''t snooze either or I could foresee that as being the biggest source of tension in our relationship haha... not kidding.

Baddd snoozer here... multiple alarms, multiples snooze presses, multiple full alarm resets, I am awful!

I have a 3X snooze policy, so I set my alarm for 30 minutes earlier than the time I actually have to wake up. My husband sleeps straight through all my snoozing.

Absolutely! at least once every mornig. often twice :)

I used to snooze. FI would if he could.

Our alarm clock is old (I''ve had it for 15 years or so) and the snooze doesn''t really work any more. Even worse is the AWFUL buzz it does to wake you up -- starts nice enough (reasonable volume) and gradually (okay, pretty quickly) gets louder and louder until it is blasting this awful BZZZZZZZ!!! so loud I''m sure the neighbors across the street can hear it.

We could get a new clock but then I might be tempted to snooze again.

ETA: It also helps that the clock is on FI''s side of the king size bed so I have to get up to turn it off -- and I now have the motivation of 30 day shred so I can''t waste the 20 minutes on snooze.

I guess techincally I''m not a snoozer, but I do have 2 alarms set for every work morning, about 15-20 minutes apart.

Add me to the snoozer group! I''m thankful that my FI (who wakes up a few hours after me) can sleep through virtually anything, so he doesn''t care too much. He snoozes too, for the record.

My snooze time is my favorite time in the morning, because our sweet pup jumps up and cuddles with me while I''m snoozing.
