how about your car license plate #?

Driver''s license -- absolutely. When I was in college I''d cash a checks at the student union when I needed spending money-- and you had to write your DV No. on the check. I stood in many a line to cash many a check back before the ATM revolution!

I have a personalized LP so yeah, I guess I''ve memorized that too!

I know them both by heart... I just like numbers :)

I also recognize other peoples license plates... like "Is that Audrey''s car? oh yup, that''s her plate!"

Yes to both.

Tags, yes. Driving license number, no.

Drivers license number??? I really am laughing my ass off because I can barely remember all of the numbers I have to remember every day. My license plate? Yes for my car only, but then my husband''s is easy because it''s a vanity plate and he''s had it for years. The spare car, no because I never drive it.

We don''t use our drivers license to identify us as adults.

Not my DL number, can''t even remember the last time I *looked* at my license, but I have heaps of other numbers memorized. My license plate, my employee number at work, my unit medical record number (Australian medical stuff), my parent''s credit card

(though I honestly don''t use it without permission), my debit card, my passport number, my partner''s passport number (makes fillling out customs forms a breeze), my SS number, 2 different bank accounts and their numerical passwords, etc. They just stick in my head.

Yes, I have a great memory for numbers. I memorize credit card numbers, phone numbers, GL codes...

Don''t know my driver''s license, but do remember my plates. My DH just got new ones so I don''t recognize his yet.

and I remember my 13-digit library card number from 10 years ago (I haven''t used it in nearly that long as well.)

Funny what we remember.

Yes and yes.

ETA: I even remember my old license plate number that I turned in a year ago.

Yep. License plate, drivers license number, and SS#.

Driver''s license number? NO way! I know what all the pieces of it mean though. At least in my state as I had to take a class on fake id''s and such when I worked at a gas station. We got busted too many times for selling to underage.

License plate? I use to when it was personalized. Got a new car early last year and can''t for the life of me remember it now. It''s one letter (A) followed by all numbers that have no rhyme or reason to me. *shrug* Ah well. . .

Yes, both.

Nope, but I sure wish I did. I was robbed a few months ago and everything (everything) was taken. The detective said "whats your driver''s license number?" and when I told him I didn''t know I got the meanest look

Yup, I remember both even though I sold the car a year ago and haven''t glanced at my license since.

I definitely have a thing for numbers. I remember social security numbers, credit card numbers, etc. Don''t tell me your personal info. Haha.

I don''t know my DL#, but I know my plates.

of course.

I also know DH''s and JT''s SS number as well as my dad''s and both of my sis''s. I have a great memory for numbers so if I''m with a person when they say it, it''s in my mind forever. I even think I know my VIN although I may have a couple digits off.

On a side note, I knew what my DL number would be when I was 14. In my algII class, we found the formula that is used to determine the number. We all used the formula for ourselves so we all knew our DL numbers early.

Why? I don''t care about my DL#, if the cop want to know, he can look at it himself.

I have vanity plates on the truck, so they are easy to remember. I have no clue what my motorcycle license plate number is.

Nope, don't know my driver's license, but do know my license plate.

(I do know my DH's SS number as well as mine! There's only so many numbers my brain will keep organized. I had both my kids born on the same day - but different months - so I had less numbers to keep track of.)

No to driver''s license #, yes to plates.

No, and no. Should I? I know my address and cell phone number, isn''t that enough???

I know my plates (I have to think about it, but I know it) but no clue about my number.

Are any of you "number people" navy brats? I find that a lot of us navy kids are good with numbers because we were always surrounded by them (dad''s ID # was his SS # and it was also our medical record number with 2, 3, and 4 on the end for each of us, we had to learn a new phone number all the time because we moved a lot, etc.)

neither. I vaguely remember some of the numbers and letters on my plates, but I somewhat interchange them. I have enough numbers to memorize in my work and at home

DL: Yes since whenever I use a check to pay for something they always ask for it so I just memorized it.
Car License Plate: No cause I just got new numbers....I remember my old one though.

Drivers license #Yes, plate number no

LOL. One has a W in it. The plate I can do the first 4 letters but am never confident about the last 3 numbers. In other matters I can remember numbers more easily than letters, just not these two things.

License, yes; plates, no!
